The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
